Andrea is no stranger to the area, she is a local girl who was raised in Garner, NC. She started cosmetology school in 2009 and found her love for the beauty industry. She started out at another Salon in 2011, after five years there, she found her new home at Sam & Bill’s!

New to the salon in 2020, Sam is from Garner, NC where she has lived the majority of her life. She attends school at Wake Tech, pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice. Her intelligence hs adapted her quickly behind the desk, we are lucky to have her. Outside of the salon you can find her at Lake Benson on a nice day with her boyfriend Matt. She loves that working at Sam & Bill’s has allowed her to build relationships with the clients and her coworkers.

Carly was born in Raleigh and raised at Sam and Bill’s, literally! Carly’s mother was a stylist at Sam and Bill’s and she spent her time growing up in this same charming salon, we call home. Carly started working the reception desk part-time in the summer of 2013 and quickly decided to follow in her parents’ footsteps. Carly knows the salon top to bottom!

Greg has been cutting hair since 2005. While he is an experienced and talented barber, he wears many hats at Sam & Bill’s. He owns the salon alongside his wife, Sandy and we consider him the salon “dad”. Greg and Sandy create a perfect balance with Sandy’s enthusiasm and Greg’s organization.

Jessica hales from New York but fell in love with North Carolina when she moved here in 2012. After earning her bachelor’s degree from State University of New York at Oswego, she trained at Paul Mitchell the school.

Kari is a locally grown, Apex, North Carolina native. She has been styling hair since 2010, and found her home at Sam & Bill’s in 2013, and has been here ever since.

(Pronounced “my”) Mai is originally from Vietnam. She had a love for hair as a young girl, and has lived out her passion here in the United States. Mai was the first woman to join the original Sam & Bill’s Place, now known as Sam & Bill’s Hair Designs. She got her cosmetology license in 1980 and has been working here since 1983. Mai is a true Sam & Bill’s staple.

Sandy is truly one of a kind stylist and person. Her energy and creativity fills the atmosphere at the salon. She has been styling hair since 1990. She went from a stylist at Sam & Bill’s to the owner, alongside her husband Greg when they purchased the salon from the original owners in 2001. She has done a great job of assembling a team that allows Sam & Bill’s to be warm and welcoming to all!

Shilo is Florida Born but Raleigh raised. In 2009 She graduated from Aveda in Chapel Hill; and after working at another local salon, Shilo found her home here at Sam and Bill’s! Shilo started as a part-time stylist and receptionist, so she knows all things Sam & Bill’s. In February of 2015 she took on a full time stylist position.

Originally from Indiana, Stephanie Anne, also known as, “SA” moved to Raleigh when she was six years old. Stephanie Anne grew up watching her mom, who is also a hairstylist, and decided to follow in her footsteps. You could say being a stylist is in her DNA. SA has been doing hair since 2010 and she’s loved every minute of it! Outside of the salon, SA is a wife to her husband Kyle and a loving dog mom to river. You can find them doing anything outdoors and road tripping from city to city.

Stephanie Bailey, also known as “SB” is originally from Syracuse, NY but found herself in Raleigh, NC looking for warmth. It didn’t take long for her to find the warmth she was looking for here at Sam & Bill’s. She has been styling hair since 1999, making her a true veteran stylist.
